  The plan shows the attack on Mainz, launched on the night of 17 th June 1793. The city was then in the hands of a revolutionary French force, besieged from 14th April to 23rd July 1793 and finally conquered by the coalition forces of Prussia, Austria and other German states under the leadership of the Holy Roman Empire.;
  On the right an inset (23 x 24 cm) supplementing the main plan, with a legend showing the attack from 18th June to 18th July 1793.;
  On the lower frame in the bottom left corner, in mirror image: Paulus Schmidt sculpsit.;

Miasto było ówcześnie w rękach rewolucyjnych sił francuskich, od 14 kwietnia do 23 lipca 1793 oblężone i ostatecznie zdobyte przez siły koalicji Prus, Austrii i innych państw niemieckich pod przywództwem Świętego Cesarstwa Rzymskiego.;
  Po prawej stronie doklejony karton (23 x 24 cm) uzupełniający plan główny, z legendą przedstawiającą przebieg ataku od 18 czerwca do 18 lipca 1793 roku.;
  Na dolnej ramce w lewym dolnym rogu w odbiciu lustrzanym: Paulus Schmidt sculpsit.;
  Plan drukowany, naniesiono rękopiśmienne noty.
